Season's Greedings, Seahorse Race & New Material UI!

Now on Test Server and currently planned to come to Live Server by November 30th, the DCUO Annual Winter Seasonal Event, Season’s Greedings brought to us by Larfleeze’s gluttonous ways has now returned and updated with 2018 styles, feats & base items! There are a myriad of icy and lit up base items to decorate your base in the holiday spirit and 2 large items for your league hall! Be sure to stay up to date with us as we make a list of it all of the new rewards and prices available, making sure to check it twice!

The Snowflake style is a 3 piece style set introduced as the main style reward for the 2018 update to the DCUO Winter Seasonal Event: Seasons Greedings. The Snowflake style allows players to add sharp icicles to their character.

The Atlantean Seahorse Pet Trinket is the reward for completing the "Rein it In" Collection, a late addition to DC Universe Online's Episode 33: Atlantis DLC and reward for participating in the Atlantean Swimming Seahorse Race. The "Rein it In" collection is obtained from the Atlantis Race Reward box.

Seahorse Race

Also arriving as an extension of Episode 33: Atlantis, a Seahorse Race has now been added! Aside from the Races that had been added in Seasonal Events, this will mark the first time DCUO has added a Race to Episode content! Upon completion you obtain the Seahorse Display base item and a collection for an Atlantean Seahorse. For all updates included with the arrival of this amazing Episode, see: Dive into Atlantis!

A whopping 39 new base items were added as part of the 2018 update to the DC Universe Online Winter Seasonal Event: Seasons Greedings. A wide variety of ice items were included, as well as an animated snowman base pet. The Spirited Snowman is an animated base pet.

The Aurora Aura is the reward for completing the "Polar Energy" Collection, a collection added as part of the 2018 update to the DC Universe Online Winter Seasonal Event: Seasons Greedings. This 11 pieces of this 12 part collection is found entirely in the Secret Research Facility event alert as a random loot drops from the boss: Orange Lantern Larfleez.

New Material UI

Finally, as mentioned by Carp in the Extra Life Charity Livestream, he was working on a new Material UI. This new UI previews the Material appearances you possess and lists it out so as not to continually having to scroll through your Materials one by one due to not being able to see the order of which your Materials are in. 2018 has most certainly been full of quality of life improvements.
