Time Capsule Artifacts, and Where to Find Them: Quark Vendor Update

Starting with the release of Kryptonian Time Capsules, the Artifacts found in Assassin Time Capsules, which were the first Time Capsules to contain Artifacts, are shown to be now having both the Eyes of Dusk and the individual Artifacts available for purchase on the Quark Vendor for 100 Quarks for Eyes of the Dusk and 25 Quarks for each Artifact. Obtaining the Eyes of the Dusk still allows one to gather the three 10 piece collections to attain the three individual Artifacts, so either 75 Quarks for all of the Artifacts or 100 Quarks for the Eyes of the Dusk Face Style to unlock the other artifacts for free after obtaining 3 collections per day over 10 days of game play.

Also, Kryptonian Time Capsule Artifacts which are currently unlocked with opening 5, 10 and 15 Kryptonian Time Capsules respectively, also have a line text in it's tooltip information denoting that they too will be available on the Quark Vendor 25 Quarks for each Artifact as well once the next Time Capsule is released, to attain the three individual Artifacts, that do not require a style item attached to unlock them in the collections like the Assassin Time Capsule Artifacts.

Preview: Teen Titans: Judas Contract & Augments!

Yesterday, DCUO held a livestream highlighting all the new content coming out this month! Augments, which were originally planned for August, will also be releasing with Episode 32: Teen Titans: Judas Contract, tentatively, on July 18th, and was released last night on Test Server!

Get to explore Titans Tower, for a chance to join the Titans on an amazing adventure now that Cyborg has officially joined the Justice League! With many new candidates, including Damian Wayne and Terra Markov, entering to become a Teen Titan, the competition will be stiff, as Deathstroke and the H.I.V.E are all coming after the resident Titans as well! Titans Tim Drake has graduated officially, going from Robin to Red Robin, with Cyborg and Starfire both getting brand new outfits and updated models, all reflecting their Rebirth appearance. Also, Jericho and Adeline Wilson both are introduced to us for the first time! The iconic gear, purple drop/event vendor gear is based off Tim Drake's Rebirth Red Robin suit, with a motorcycle helmet, and the Episode vendor gear is based off Rebirth Cyborg's new style, with enhanced and elite versions respectively. They also include Damian Wayne's Robin feet style along with H.I.V.E. Master's hood, shoulder and back pieces as rare styles to be obtained, and brand new base items, feats and collections inspired by the Teen Titans! There will be daily and weekly missions in the new Titans Island open world, a duo where we are joined by Damian & Terra, an alert, and two new raids, fighting in all brand new locations!

Now, also launching with this new Episode are Augments, which are highly inspired by Cyborg, along with other characters as well. Augments are set to replace the usual Exobits & Exobytes that have been found in game since the beginning, replacing gear equipment mods entirely with Augments for our own body, which will rank up much like Artifacts. We get a certain amount at level 25, with new ones being introduced in each episode, and are named differently pending on our character's mentors, with Meta having Metagenes, Tech having Implants, and Magic having Runes, but all stats-wise are the same as each other, simply providing more flavor text in our mentor choices. The ones we get at level 25 require no breakthrough Catalysts and can rank up to the highest item gear level that is currently in game, being 217 once Episode 32 launches and goes up as future Episodes release, with 4 being able to be equipped at any one time. The Episode specific Augments do require specific Catalysts to breakthrough that drop through content, and have milestones of every 15 ranks, with 2 being able to be equipped at any one time.

See the below Youtube Livestream Replay for the full details, test it out on Test Server, and get ready for all these new changes coming to DCUO Live Server on July 18th!
