DCUO Download and Launch Issue [Update]

Since yesterday, a number of players have been experiencing issues launching the game, and as of today, the link on DCUO’s site for the PC Download is not currently functioning. While the Developers are currently investigating the launch issues, posting updates on the DCUO Forums since yesterday, the latest updates state:

Status: 11/12/2020 8:08 PST - We are continuing to investigate an issue with launching/patching the game.
Status: 11/12/2020 13:52, 16:46 & 21:16 PST - We are currently investigating an issue with launching the game.
Status: 11/13/2020 8:08 & 21:51 PST - We are continuing to investigate potential issues with patching/launching the game.

[DCUO Source Wall Update] Currently it seems as though the CDN provider issues have mostly been resolved, please try to check if you are able to log in if affected. Qe believe things should be resolved, if you still are experiencing any issues be sure to contact Daybreak Games Help.

We have reached out to DCUO to find out the issue with the launcher. We will update you in this article upon any changes and statements DCUO may make, stay tuned to this article!

For those trying to download the game on PC and the main site option is functioning once again! You can also use the Steam version which was unaffected in terms of downloading the game. Whether you’ll be impacted by the current launch issues remain to be seen, but it is a great option to use, if it is available on Steam in your Region. Click below to go to the DCUO Steam Page!
