Game Update 86: Behind the Scene Changes & Chat Limit Guide!

In a DC Universe Online Forum Post, Ted "Mepps" Stone has addressed the several chat limitations implemented behind the scenes in the ongoing effort to combat gold farmer spam. Quite a number of players have taken issue with the limit decrease to 140 characters, from using chat to have conversation with friends in games that may be in other Leagues, with Leagues limits seemingly not to be affected, some crucial text chat channels, such as Tell, Group, and Custom chat. They may consider increasing the cap if they receive enough feedback upon it.

Double Artifact XP Weekend!

Get your Nth Metal ready, because this weekend Artifact XP gains are doubled when you fortify your Artifacts. That's right, any time you're using Nth Metal (or any of the Artifact XP items) to add XP and rank up your Artifacts, those gains will be doubled. Thinking about jumping into that new Artifact? Have a bunch of Nth Metal ready to go? Now's the time. 

Pro Tip: A third Artifact equipment slot is set to open with Game Update 86 next week. Pick out your third Artifact and consider ranking it up this weekend!

As mentioned in the Ask Me Anything (About Augments) Recap, Ted "Mepps" Stone has mentioned about the upcoming 3rd Phase for Style Unlocking, providing some clues as to what may be coming in it, potentially being finally able to unlock several dropped styles prior to Episode 26, along with a separate statement posted 12 days later stating it is planned to launch with or before Game Update 86 in August 2018. Will the Promethium Lockbox styles, the next 3 Time Capsules & Booster Bundles also included?
